Jack if you really cared for your customers wouldn’t you send them somewhere better?
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

I think what Jack is trying to say is that you should not subject your audience to Magical Masturbation...

Yeah, but this audience is begging for it. No one is here to see magic.

Begging for what?

I AM here to see magic. I would love it if there was a share your video section...like the Dan and Dave site...that would be cool. Maybe there is and I just haven't found it.

I would love to see Jack Scratch perform. You have big ideas, and I would love to see if you have been able to incorporate them into your performance.

Can you post a video? Pretty PLEASE!!! (I am begging.)

I have seen videos that BDC has online.

Very hard for me to get cameras at my performances, and I don't perform for cameras. The audience is a crucial portion of my performance.

What I said was mostly a jab at the fact that most magicians seem to come to this forum to argue with me.

Could it be because their performance is better than the one of most professionals? (And here, you know that I would not include you.)

"Amateur" as you know comes from "amare" in latine, which literally means "lover". Admittedly there are great "professional lovers," but amateurs have no reason to be ashamed of their contribution to magic.

What about Alex Elmsley, Al Leech, Matt Schulien, Bob Sheets, Bob Read, Bill Kalush, Francis Tabary, Pete Biro, Christian Fechner and the likes who's profession is or was not magic...?

I love professional magicians, and it's kind of difficult to understand that they could resent bad amateurs more than bad professionals (and the % probably match in each category). I probably prefer bad amateurs because there is a hope that they will improve; a smaller probability with bad professionals.
