While I think Chris's idea of the magician signing the card himself is a good one, and is much easier than having the spectator sign the card, overall, there's reall no need for anyone to sign the card.
Lit plays so strongly unsigned, that I don't feel compelled at all to work out any type of signed variation. For me, part of the beauty of Lit is how ridiculously easy the setup and performance are, so I'm not too anxious to add any steps that complicate the setup or performance of the effect. A deck, a book of matches, and a gimmick in my pockets, and I'm good to head out the door. Gotta love it! Kevin

As far as signing the Card, could be more powerful for those who see you perform day in and day out or maybe even other Magi's but to Laymen I believe that it wouldnt matter, there is no reason for them to think what we know. With that being said, anyone know where to get your hands on White Match Books, Not online but say walmart, target things of that sort.

All you need to do this wonderful trick is the playing card (gimmick) in your wallet, since you can always pick up a pack of matched at any convenience store.
Not many magic tricks that you will want to keep with you, require so little from you. This is a real keeper from my point of view. I carry a prepared card in one pocket and a plain pack of matches in the other pocket with my deck of cards, and I'm ready to go. Not many "gimmicked" magic tricks carry that light. Bob |

I've had this effect for a while and wanted to wait till I had truely tested it out in different situations.
This is a really nice effect, it is direct and fairly to the point, I also like how it starts as a match trick and then the cards come in subtlely making it great for me as an opener. Also using it as an opener establishes you as a magician very quickly. I am very happy with Lit and anyone how works professionally will benefit from having it in their arsenal. Donny, I like your thinking, I will have to try some of them out! The extras on the DVD are very nice as well, all in all this is a great purchase, good simple direct magic at it's best. All the best, Ben |
