Is there a clip online of this chop cup in action? I'd be interested in seeing the Loomis routine being performed with these chop cups.
Also, how does the SBL Micro chop cups [listed on RNT2] compare to the Risers? I know the Riser Micro's have been long discontinued. Thanks guys! |

The Riser micro is a beautifully made cup. It came with 2 sets of loads. One of which is actually larger than the cup.
The Loomis routine is versatile and automatically reseting, with out anything to keep track of. It does have an optional vanish at the end using a hip flask and filling the cup with liquid. You do have to be dressed a certain way to do it. I do family events and have never performed that part of the routine.

It can also be performed in conjunction with Eugene Burger's wonderful "Shotglass Surprise" routine.

I have both the the risers and the SBL La Petite cups. both are very similar, the ID of the riser is a little smaller which can make working with a larger load a bit nicer, both are quality pieces. Either could be used with the Loomis routine. Theres also a nice micro cup routine in the unexpected visitor book.
