So, which one did you go with?
Also, how's the scene in Raleigh?

Gaddy, I went with a keyboard stand. Got it at Kmart for $22. I just used it in a show yesterday, and it works great and is super light.

I snagged a tall server tray stand, and for a top, I found a 2x3 cutting board (the indestructible plastic) that works great. I use that with a large pad, and it does what I need.
Only thing I need to modify is a bungee cord hook up to hold it down, and a lip on the board to keep things from rolling off. After seeing Koz's lecture, I'll prob build another rig - a keyboard stand and a boxed in table with foam and fabric covering.
