I just recently started to play with Sankey's Wrap it Up. I watched the DVD and am not as pleased with it as other Sankey products. In the past Jay has always been a proponent of every move having a justification. It seems that he forgot that with this trick. When he teaches the viewer to open the shirt with the right hand, reach in with the left hand and bring out the gimmicked wrapper, but do not show it (obviously). So, I reach onto the right side of my body with my left hand and miraculously produce an empty gum wrapper. Where did this come from??? Maybe I'm over analyzing this, but it makes no sense. As I stated, I just started playing with this, so I have not tested it in front of a lay audience. This is my initial take on the first viewing of the DVD. It's not natural to open the right side of my shirt or coat and reach toward my right hand pants pocket with my left hand. My hand would not be able to go into my pocket at that angle. For the guys that are doing this effect, let me know your take on this and your experience with this trick in front of audiences.

Hi, I have this as well and to be honest I don't know if I really like it too much. The thing that bothers me is the noise factor of the effect,if you do this you know what I mean. I think it would be a good opener in a very loud club. There are other versions you can do with a TT but I have tested it out and I just don't feel it goes down that well. But as they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. But Jay, as we all know, it fantastic. If you don't have Holy Moly you need to go and get this, it's simple, visual and a killer effect mate.

Hi Andy,
You and I must be the only two who own this. I agree with you on the noise factor. It is really loud. There's really no way to hide the noise with a snap of your fingers as Jay suggests on the DVD. Regarding Holy Moly...I've had this for years. Great effect. It goes on every strolling gig with me. Lou

I also have this one but have never tried it on a spectator yet. I got as far as trying it out for practice few a half hour or so and figured the noise would never work in a real setting. Plus I rarely wear an open shirt and I just do not like to use that gimmick. Next spring I may try it out on some kids in my neighborhood, if a dog is barking really loudly near by that is or someone is mowing the lawn.

Thanks guys. It looked good on the website, but I thought I would check reviews first. I don't need another trick/effect that I will never use for some reason or another. Jay normally has great stuff.
