One of the greatest drummers of all time.

Buddy Rich was so great I never missed Carson when I knew he was making an appearance, or any other show he played on for that matter. Krupa, Rich, Bonham, and Peart are not only the greatest drummers, but dynamic showman as well.

I at least know who Bonham and Peart are, so if he is on that list, he must be the man

Please don't forget Ginger Baker (drummer for Cream)! My youngest is a pro drummer and those are some of his heroes! Jon Bonham's kid is a hellava drummer as well! He played for the Zeppelin reunion! KCG, don't sweat knowing who BR is since you'd have to either be a drummer, musician or an old fart like John, Steve, Kregg and Vandy...... oh and me I guess!

Even when Zep toured Bonhams kid would get on the drums and hit them so hard he would fool the crew into thinking his dad was warming up!!
I would also have to nominate the great Nick Mason, if only because I am a large floyd fan

Buddy Rich was primarily a jazz drummer who was quite a personality, a throw back to the smokey jazz clubs. I also would never miss him on Carson.
