I use an ipod (as most of you do, I'm sure!) during my shows. However, I'm getting quite frustrated in trying to find a RELIABLE docking station. I've been through several now. My requirements are simple:
1. It must charge the ipod (I think they all do this!) 2. It must be able to connect to my amp via an AV plug (the red and white thingy!) 3. I would like it to have a remote (although this isn't a must if it's easy to use - but it is preferable) I won't use a griffin airdock again as I've now had TWO develop the same problem. Thanks Mark |

Mark,
I too tried the Ipod solution but just ended up finding the remote too unreliable. I believe that if you want to include sound effects/music to your program that you need to invest in your show and go for either an Icue 2 or an MP3 Tech from Wireless Wizardry. I went with the latter after watching Ken Scott perform his Library DVD. The sound cues on this is really amazing and it sold me on the MP3 Tech. From time to time I've noticed Icue(s) for sale at the Café but I don't recall seeing any MP3 Tech(s) for sale. You can find out more info about MP3 Tech at the following site: http://www.wirelesswizardry.com/mp3tech.html I should also say that I don't know the owner/maker (Kerry Pollock) of this product and only speak from my experience as someone who has purchased it. jeff |
