When you search back issues with a Genii subscription, can you save issues on PDF to your computer?

I get both too, but if I could only have ONE it would be Genii. Simply for the online access to the entire back catalogue- you can't get better value than that! Personally I think it's the better mag too (but it's pretty close).

I completely agree with David on this one. I've been performing for 26 years and historically always chose MAGIC, but since Richard took over, Genii has surpassed Magic IMO. The fact that they now give away the current issue in ipad format and the 70 years of archives for free puts Magic in the dust. Magic still wins as the best looking of the two but they have fallen behind the times regarding current technology.

Subscribe to Genii for $56 for one year and you get:
1. 12 printed monthly copies 2. 12 digital copies of the monthly issues FREE 3. Access to 74 years of back issues online FREE. Subscribe to MAGIC for $54 for one year and you get: 12 paper copies ... and that's all. If you want the digital copy, assuming you have an iPad, you'll pay an extra $4 a month. No iPad, you're out of luck. So, one year of Genii (paper AND digital) = $56 One year of MAGIC (paper AND digital, if you have an iPad) = $102!!! The math should make the choice for you! You're paying almost double for MAGIC and you don't even get any back issues. All online features of Genii are free to all subscribers and viewable on any desktop, laptop, iPad, iPhone, Droid, tablet, and so on. |

Just waiting for the app to get approved. It can take a few days or 6 weeks. Out of our control. But you can view Genii on the iPad now by logging in the normal way, it's just very clunky.

How is the iPad app going to work, will we be able to buy individual issues?

The ability to access the Ask Alexander Genii files is a big plus. But it's also a gateway drug. Took less than 24 hours for me to pop for a full Conjuring Arts subscription.
