Pretty cool, E. It'll be good when someone finally figures out how to remove all the jerky "suddenness" when using the HPC. It doesn't stop all the good magic, but it sorta makes you go "Hmmmmmmmm" IMHO.
Hey, relatively speaking, this isn't quite coin magic, but also a great routine, very clever stuff that points to the art of misdirection, timing and overall presentation in just about any kind of magic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Yw7oX5CXhk

The Gallo Pitch gets rid of that jerky "suddenness" in some cases, but you can't use it for this routine because you can't pitch the coins into the glass.

I actually remember Rannie having an excellent use for this style of in the air HPC in his excellent coins to glass routine (which is one of my favorite versions).
What I like about Diamond Jim's handling isn't the technique (which is great), it's the entertainment value. He's taken a fairly boring, repetitive plot and turned it into a comical routine.

It doesn't matter...no one knows it. That's a lay audience, and they are having a great time. That's what pros like Jim Tyler do, perform for people who want to have a good time...and trust me on this...HE DELIVERS! JIM IS THE MAN!
