Is it called Psi Sharpie 2? I saw something else on Hocus that looked similar but I think it does not have a remote.

I got one a few days ago and so far it has been trouble.
The ink was dry when I got it (found out when I got it home)and the shop recommended I refill the ink or swap the tip with one from a regular sharpie or wait 1 week for them to get a new one in stock. I decided to have a go at swapping the tip..the problem is that the body of the pen around the tip end is incredibly delictae and when I went to swap it it creased the body ever so slightly..i could have just taken it back to the shop and swapped it as there is no way anyone would have realised but I felt bad for the next owner and didn't feel it was the right thing to do.. So anyway I now have the new tip in and decided to keep it..so I put in the batteries to try it out what happened? Nothing, well sort of nothing..it didn't seem to work for a while then it kind of sputtered then VERY NOISILY started to spin. I Put it on the carpet and it was struggling mightily to get through one revolution very audible . So it has to be sent away for repairs or something and I'm not sure if the warranty will cover me as o took the dealers advice of swapping the tip rather than refill the ink the way the instructions suggest. |

I think it can be the greatest tip pen ever but I just think maybe the technology needs more work, the casing design and the remote definitely need to be re-worked.
I'm on my third one a Psi 2 and it's giveing me fits. I think they took a step backwards with the remote. |

How disappointing! You would think that the manufacturer would have worked all the kinks out before releasing it.

I dunno if I'm just lucky but I have a V1 that still goes well every time and is not too noisy when used under a bowl. I think the possible improvements to V1 would be that remote needs to be a toe switch to be hands free, the mechanism would ideally need to be quieter and the battery installment more secure in terms of providing good reliable connectivity. I don't have a V2 to compare.
