As for Barack Obama being 47, it may interest you to know that he is NOT the youngest man to hold the office. Even JFK doesn't have that honor, even though he WAS the youngest (43) to be ELECTED into office. The honor for the youngest president goes to Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt who took office at the tender age of 42 after the assasination of William McKinley in 1901. Interestingly, Roosevelt was a member of the Republican party, just like Lincoln, and believed in many of the things that the Democrats say they believe in today! Quite a reversal of roles, if you ask me!!!

OK Justin, ya got me. No way I would have the guts to take that shot. Still too much jiggle in the wiggle.

However, I did just finish the Pheonix R&R marathon. (1st one in 5 years.) And I've got scheduled another 4 or 5 this year. Sooooo ..... maybe by the end of the year?

Next year I'm considering running the entire series of 8 R&R marathons. Unfortunately, I think the closest one to NY is Virginia. If I ever decide to run New Yorks, (which I hope to some day), I'll give you a holler for a bike ride while I'm out there.
