Okay, there may be more than one, but I found one place today not to practice it. (With apologies to David Roth)
Never practice it at a urinal. I went to reach for the handle to flush and did a perfect toss pass right next to the big white mint. Who knows, maybe there is a routine in there somewhere. Scott

Great story.
I know of a place not to practice classic palming. I was practicing on top of a cliff during a hiking trip. I suddenly didn't feel the coin anymore. I looked over the edge to see a little silver dot sailing down. I could have sworn I was far enough away from the edge. Andrew |

Andrew,
Hopefully it wasn't a Walking Liberty, Barber, or Morgan. Scott

You know what would be cool to do?
Go to an amusement park, and practice your classic palm while standing in line for a big coaster. See if you can keep it through the ride. Maybe I will try it on Friday. Chris |

Wouldn't that be kind of dangerous for oncomers?
"What happened to Jimmy?" "He's out cold. This 1964 Kennedy half dollar is embedded into the side of his head." "I guess someone's classic palm just isn't up to snuff." |

I agree with Mr. Harrison. That would be dangerous. Just put caution tape around a 200 yard radius of the ride. Then do it.

Ok, maybe not.
