Leo,
This little routine is an absolute killer! I almost wish you hadn't brought it up. There used to be a saying in magic, "If you want to keep a routine secret, publish it in a book or magazine." Meaning, of course, that most guys won't go to the work of digging through material--they want it packaged up nice and easy. In my extended O&W, I use progressively fewer cards "to make it easier to follow." The ONLY reason I don't use this within my routine is because I'd have to introduce the different-colored backs. However, as a standalone routine, as I said, it's a killer. And because you're using two small packets, each with different-colored backs, this is one of those few effects that make sense as a packet trick that you carry in a separate wallet or envelope. I especially love the finish. That is an underused principle that's a real convincer and is so easy to do.
"Love God, laugh more, spend more time with the ones you love, play with children, do good to those in need, and eat more ice cream. There is more to life than magic tricks." - Scott F. Guinn
