Is it just me or does Jay Sankey sound just like Dick Grayson (Robin) from the old Batman TV series?
Dig out one of your DVD's and have a listen. :) |

The interesting thing is that I suppose a lot of younger guys consider Jay their magic hero, but as for Burt ward, I remember reading an article years ago about how his life pretty much went to pot after the series ended, Not to mention the fact that the guy couldn't act his way out of a paper bag!

Was Robin really a 'super hero' or just a sidekick that held Batman's coat while he did all the heavy lifting?

There was one episode where robin actually apprehended a petty thief that was high on crystal meth in the first season using his mind powers to bring him of the roof, at the end you find out batman had actually thrown him off the building.

Burt Ward may have been a sidekick but Robin is indeed a superhero, he's done a lot of super heroic stuff, especially Tim Drake. As for Sankey? He's more likely to be a super Villain. There are very few bald super heroes, usually at the point they become bald or grow a goatee you know they're becoming evil. Therefore, I conclude that Sankey will follow the likes of famous bad guys Lex Luthor, The Kingpin, The Vulture, Brainiac, Leader, Killer Croc, Apocalypse, and many others. Because he is not in a wheelchair, black or an alien he can't get the bald superhero card. That is just the way of pop-culture.

Actually I see Sankey more as the Riddler, not making any sense at all, speaking in 10 different accents LOL!

Who wouldn't want to see Jay in a Catwoman suit?... Well, I mean, besides me...

Ah, you missed my Kenton-esque uses of the double negative, thus you stated that you... well, you get the rest.
Sometimes I see no rhyme of reason for why some threads stay while other's go. Whim, I guess. ... Or my Brown-esque claim of the use of the double negative, miss-calling and floating a red herring to cover my actual method.

No, Tim Drake the third robin. I meant he's an actual superhero rather than just a sidekick. Now I'm confused... what?
