Kidding of course. But, she is very much wanting to touch, see, examine everything. I just stopped trying with her. Not worth it.

Prestige is the keyword here.

Yes, prestige. Something not easily earned with family and friends.

"Give them a touch-my-things-and-I-will-kill-you stare.."

"Ask them to give you the same respect they would give a stranger."

Some family and friends (and other people) are simply unmanagable so avoid them if possible.
Let them know it's "a trick". Suggesting that your a magical, miracle worker to friends and family just don't cut it.

Quit performing for them. When they ask why you don't perform for them anymore, tell them the truth, that they act like children with no respect & you will resume once the respect is shown.
