Sam's book, Illusions of Influence, should be read by every magician.
The book has thoughts on Equivoque that are very usable. Earlier this week, I was speaking with a friend who told me that he never used Equivoque because it was too "transparent." What many have passed off for Equivoque effects seem to mainly fool the magician. Sam's little book teaches not only effects, but methodology. When used correctly, this methodology makes for very convincing effects. E-routines in this book are broken into three parts. This seems to be the most important part of this book. It would be unfair to describe the three parts, as this is the "secret" of the book. The book offers ideas and scripting for different numbers of items. Some people will find little here. Others will find diamonds. Peace, Parson
