Clip the deck with your hand at the top of the bag, turn the bag upside down (as mentioned before). Squeeze the bag with your other hand. Now the bag really really empty.
The spectators think that you are a magician, so they guess that there's something wrong with the bag. An know what? They're right.

I like Alan Hogan’s suggestion (sleeve the deck; snap the bag), but I would start out with a collapsed paper bag and have an audience member open it for me. You could shuffle the invisible cards while you wait.
I think the benefits of introducing the trick this way are apparent but if you’d like to discuss this further, just PM me. (And thanks allot all; I’m definitely trying this effect in my next show!) |
