Something I was wondering about and had another magician friend ask me last week...
When you post a video on YouTube, how long does it stay on there??? I mean like if it was just a video of a magician showing a card effect, something just "nice"...would it be on there permanently??? Anybody know??? |

Unless you take it down it will be there long after you die...

Additionally, once it appears, even if it's taken down, people may repost it. Or save it. Or archive it for later use in blackmail. Remember, the internet is forever, or at least until society collapses.

Anyone notice that they are disabling the sound on videos that have copyrighted music. Clips from live shows, family videos, slideshows are all getting audio disabled. YET type any song title in and you can find high quality audio with nothing but the albums cover art? What is up with that!

...and if your video does get removed for copyright complaint, you can find out about it on YouTomb (although the video itself usually cannot be found on that site).
