About 2 and a half months ago I was rereading bobos(yet again) and was taking a look at the new era coin go, when I got an idea, drew a picture with a breif explanation so I would remember it in the future. Well I never got back to it, until 2 days ago, I was cleaning my room when I found the paper, and played with it again. Then yesterday, a freind who enjoys watching my magic wanted to see something. I figured I would give this a shot, and to my surprise, it went over really well. If the Harada hold and New era coin go had a kid, this would be it. This video is just something quick I made to show the move, so it isn't perfect, please tell me what you think, and if there is something like this already.

Looks great! I like this technique. It needs not two days practice, but four days
For me it looks as a combination of two already knowns routines, but maybe it is a new one. Anyway, good work, waiting for more videos, good luck. -Morten- |

If you have a way to do it ungimmicked(which seems unlikely) then its new.
If you are using a certain something to hold the coin, then probably not.... there is a lot of work with "holding" coins on different places to produce / vanish them, ranging from wrist(front back), up forearm, back of hand, elbow, etc. edit: I watched your other video, it is extremely good stuff! but please *slow down*, it looks like just a bunch of moves without inner motivation to do them... it is as if your hands move without purpose(other than the secret one). I know it may just be a practice video for showing the move, but try even something simple like the mutobe wipe section and just got 2x-4x slower, give people a chance to see what you are doing. |

Yeah, it didn't seem so fast when I was doing it, but when I saw it after it uploaded, I realized that I was going pretty fast, I don't know, I always do things faster when I am recording it, thanks for the tips. |

Good performance, coinavore. I don't know if that is particularly new, but well done.

You seemed slightly stiff to me. I think if you kept your hands up a little more, it might somehow suggest that nothing could be hiding ANYWHERE because if something were to be hiding behind your hand or on your arm etc, it would fall off.

Then definitely argh, I can barely do Harada(and only with one coin), and this actually makes me want to put on a few pounds(or stretch my skin?) to get some extra skin in wrist area. I really didn't think it could be done ungimicked after attempting to practice it, but my skin is just completely way off from where it needs to be.
Congrats on the move whether it turns out to be original or not, even if it is only usable for a small group of people due to angles, having in your arsenal is really great and it looks fantastic. -daegs |

SO, other than viewed by a camera from one angle, where, in the real world, do you use this?

I have shown a grand total of 4 people this live, and its fooled 3 of them, however the one that saw it, was my magician freind, and has helped me with the angles slightly. I have done this numerous times looking at mirrors and getting feedback from family and close freinds on the angles. So far its angles are like the harada hold, you have some leeway, but you have to be cautious and control your angles. Thius is still a work in progress, so hopefully I can get it better. |

It looked good. I would like to see it worked into some sort of routine.
