I have a fasination for finger ring magick, especially mysterious happening because of energy stored in such a personnal object such as a ring. Andruzzi's Ring of Protection evolved into Bernsteins Ritual or Maskelyns ring routine. And Rick Maue has Truth of the relic. There is a beautiful story of the gate keeper using the ring of truth, which hand routine by Banachek. I was thinking of using a ring and coin ( perhaps Outlaws relic for the coin )in Whitestar for one of the piles.
My question being, can someone point me in the direction of other more unusual publications or storylines for rings or has someone here anything they'd care to share. Many thanks for any help |

One tale I told was about my dead grandmother's wedding band that she gave me on her death bed.
I had an effect where the examined ring was dropped into a glass and in tinkled when I asked her questions and spoke to her spirit. An ITR was used. |

That's a very nice alterative to a spirit bell Jaz, many thanks for sharing. I never thought of using a ring in that manner. In fact, I really like the thinking and possible storyline for that as it could be done almost impromptu and with very little pocket space, thanks again

One of the best versions I have seen & done of the ring off rope is Gary Ouellet's The Homing Ring. When I was younger..I badly fooled other magicians with this routine.

I've always liked the idea of using a poison ring. I have a few story ideas kicking about. I think they are fascinating objects that tie in well with death.

Yes, I really find them fasinating as well. I actually have a small varity of special rings for different storyline effects. Turning an effect like Janus109 suggestion of Ouellet's Homing ring routine into another story but same routine, I may use anything from an antique wedding band to a medieval signet ring depending on how I feel or the situation on the day. Many thanks for your contributions as well, really helpful and great advice

Does anyone know where to get a PK ring that does not look like a wedding band?
