I was at Knott's Berry Farm today (amusement park out in Southeren California.)
I was walking along and I finally foudn the magic shop. I walked in looking for a copper/silver coin. I figured if they had one I'd pick it up while I was there. Well I go in and ask the guy if they had one. He said "well the copper/silver coin is actually 3 coins and we sold out of them all. We do have Scotch and Soda though." I was about to cry (just kidding.) What kind of people are selling our secrets? I know that this wasn't a professional magic shop and I probably shouldn't be surprised but c'mon! If he didn't know what a copper/silver coin is he shouldn't be allowed to sell Thumbtips or most of the other stuff in there! Chris |

Just a word of advice. Never go into amusement park magic shops expecting anign great. They are never magician magic shops. Why would they put a magician magic shop in an amusement park. The shops are for tourists!!! The shops have collected items such as "Scotch and Soda" and "Card-Toon" and have made them regular sellers to tourists. Althought I particularly don't agree with it, it has been going on for a long time and there isn't anythign we can really do about it. Don't worry buddy, I've been there...

True true!
At least it wasn't as bad as my Disneyland experience last summer!! I go in there not expecting anythign to great. (They used to have a guy in there that was awesome!) I walk in and these kids are like "show us a trick." The person behind the counter does D*lite, "well you see that red on your shirt there? we can pull that red right out of it..." I screamed, turned around and ran out of the park making a vow to never go to Disneyland again. Ok, ok. I lied a little bit....I didn't run. Chris |

It's amazing what you can find in a magic shop. Once, a visit to Flosso's in NYC turned up the members of KISS!
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Hahaahahaha Chris. Sounds funny. I was just in there afew months back and the guy there was really nice. He wasn't some demo magicians, he was a serious guy and very good. He taught me some neat Greg Wilson effects and I had a fun time hanging out with him. I believe his name was Dave.
