There is value in this product if you like it or not. Again I say it is the creators perogative to sell his product at whatever he wishes. What I don't get is you come on here thinking you got "ripped off" after you knew what you were buying.
Oh yeah, can you please tell me what is the proper amount of time that someone must talk about an effect so the consumer is happy? At least for me I understood the control as soon as he taught it and all of the variations that were included. I know it's a sucks to use the rewind button but it is there. As you can see you are only one side of the coin. So are we all wrong to find value in this product? Jason "Sucker" Dean |

No, I think the product does have some value. The control is OK (though not original with Lee) but for a move that relies primarily on bluff, I feel that he could have spent some time on misdirection, patter he uses, times when he feels that it is the right control to use-in short, something that reflected his real world experience with the move. but instead nada, zip. There isn't really time in a four minute video, you know, to get to all that "filler"stuff!
I know what a good teaching tape is- I have plenty of them in my collection. Take Greg Wilson or Michael Ammar for example, great teaching and they don't leave anything out. I also never said anyone was wrong for being happy with this- I suggested that you would be a good potential customer for my forthcoming three minute video on the Criss Cross Force complete with five minutes of extra material of my kid's hilarious antics while having their diapers changed- all for $30!!!! At least that's how I see it based on your uncritical assesment of what I (and others) see as a flawed release. As I said, it was deceptively advertised ( I covered the whole "you knew what you were buying " argument on another post) and compares very unfavorably with other products on the market at the same price point. I'm not going to repeat my position again as you didn't seem to comprehend my previous posts on the subject or if you did, you didn't care to refute any of my major contentions in a convincing manner. I get it- you were a satisfied customer- I was not. Your opinion and mine differ. As far as this topic is concerned, I'm going to leave it there. Pax |

As part of the Lee Asher Cult,I would like to mention a couple of things about the original Topic "5 Card Stud by Lee Asher".I don't want to discuss any character assassination or insults to cult members.
As said in my previous post I enjoyed this DVD as a refreshing approach to magic instruction. Before buying it I knew that it was based around a short movie(Lee Asher stars as Agent005......) The tricks and sleights were quite good and usable. I consider I got value for money from this DVD.I believe that magic is generally sold too cheaply.Gone are the days when you almost had to walk over hot coals to obtain magic information. BTW I'm pretty selective with what I buy. If you don't like magic instruction presented in a short movie format, then maybe this DVD is not for you. Chappelly LAC |

I haven't seen the Learning Control DVD, however I learned it from Lee and use it often. The bottom line is Learning Control worth 25 bucks. Yes, it is. If you don't think so, try it on someone. Magician or laymen. Have you done that yet? It really is an extremely good move. Lee's videos are a bit odd, but at least he's not stiff. I think it's entertaining, if you don't, just watch the magic. I'm just hoping for his Pulp Friction DVD to come out, this will be an EXCELLENT video, so I suggest you not pass up the Lee boat yet. Give it another chance, he's a great innovative thinker.

Perfunctory? Lee Asher's Diving Board Double is the only effect I have purchased from him so far. I thought the 12$ pdf was too cheap for the invaluable information and detailed instruction. I plan to buy the 5 card stud dvd soon- is this video more moves, flourishes, or routines??
