Whilst browsing around for Kids TV programmes of the '80s on Youtube (& other unmentionable places ), I stumbled upon this little snipped from the 1986 claymation film The Adventures of Mark Twain. Apparently it's based on a Mark Twain piece called "The ***ed Human race".
Certainly not something I'd show my young kids, but possibly one of the darkest claymations I've seen (bar something the Curator pointed us to some time last year)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuIn3e5GpLY - a beautifully animated Mysterious Stranger. Wonder if it's possible to do something similar to this a'la Borodin's The Face? Enjoy. Matt |

No - something with lots of blood & guts - a zombie claymation.

Oh, those old memories coming flooding back... Barry and Stuart! If you've not heard of these sick puppies, you should take a few mins, they've some interesting stuff that I'd forgotten about:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeTh9gqX9CU Now - if I'm not mistaken, the old lady in this clip is the same dummy used in a Derren Brown episode of ??? where he wakes a chap up in his REM state of sleep, asks him what he was dreaming, lets him sleep, then wakes him up in his next REM sleep session and has the room next to him become a hospital ward full of sheep and a dead old woman. Hope this doesn't give me nightmares tonight LOL Already freaked out looking at the painting "Hands Resist Him" - even if the provenance is completely rubbish. zzzz Matt |

Hands Resist Him is beautifully dark even if you don't buy into the story created around the painting.
