Don't smoke.
Don't stare, ogle, or leer. Don't pick your nose or any other body orifice. Refrain from farting, burping, sneezing, or coughing. Keep all audible body functions to an absolute minimum. Face forward towards the door. People get really nervous when you step onto an elevator and don't turn around and face the door. Don't hum or sing along to the elevator music no matter how much you admired the Beatles or Van Halen when you were so much younger. Don't take cuts. First one on is the last one off. If you're first one on, take charge. Man the control panel and speak with an authorative voice, but don't imitate an elevator operator you've seen in the old movies unless you're wearing the uniform and hat. And kindly refrain from pinching that hottie's cheeks and then blaming it on the little guy standing next to you. Real hotties know it was you.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

My friend, Pensacola magician Bruce Walstad has little stickers printed up which he uses to label control panels in elevators. They say, Sixth floor button broken. Push three twice.
BTW - Funkenrings were made for clearing elevators. "Man, I thought they fixed this."
