Can anyone help me on how to replace the ru***rband on the gimmick after it breaks? I've been having troubles putting one on the gimmick. Thanks

Jamie Schoolcraft gives excellent instructions on flipper-coin repair on Dean Dill's DVD, "Flip it." Should apply to the Mirage coin as well.

I don't own a Mirage set, but I do own several flippers. When I need to change the band, I usually boil the coin in some hot water for two or three minutes (this melts the glue). After I've dried it and it's cooled, then I replace the band and re-glue the gimmick...
Hoping it helped, Kyle Czarnecki |
