I'm posting from a state of sleepy bliss right now. On March 10th, my wife went to her fetal non-stress test, and the doctors expressed a bit of alarm with her rising blood pressure. Since the baby was full term (+37 weeks), they decided to induce labor.
On the 11th, after a long day of waiting, with slipped epidural tubes and a lot of pain, our little baby, Alexander Lee, was born by c-section, at 21:41. He weighed 6lbs, 10oz, and was 20 inches long. And as every father knows, their child is the most beautiful thing in the world. The RedShirt family is now happy and home, and sleepy and hungry, and joyfully celebrating every wet and poopy diaper- even the ones at 2:50 in the morning. I'm too tired to post pictures, much as I want to. But I never manage to get the ones where he's staring up with his beautiful baby eyes anyway. -Erik

Because I know that some are curious to see my baby (and I love showing him off...)
What's that flashy thing? The darling son. A tired and happy dad.
