I wish I could have known too. I do his version of the Malini Egg Bag as well as his routine of Sidewalk Shuffle. Both play well and I wouldn't trade it in for anything.
It's a shame that he was ruined by bankruptcy. We should have those laws here. If Bank of America and GM want to claim bankruptcy, then they should pay back every cent. |

Yes it was a great article…. I forgot that I had the book and have been rereading it this week. It makes you long for good old BM Magic shop.
Thanks, Bruce |

The Brooke book and Pete's article are great. Ken put out so many quality items from guys like Roy Johnson, Kornwinder, etc. He is sorely missed.

I have just cleared my attic and found a tape recording made by Vic Pinto, with narration by Pat Page, recording an event held to celebrate 10 years of business for Ken Brooke and Frank Farrow. It was held in the mid Seventies, with tributes from Ricky Jay, John Fisher, Paul Stone and others. Ken and Frank Farrow respond with emotional thanks. It plays for 20 minutes, I have converted it to MP4 (plays in Iplayer etc) and happy to email it to anybody who is interested.

Would love to hear it again Chris.
I had the double tape 'sound of magic' recordings from the mid-1970's and must literally have played the tapes through to transparency. My email is BarryAllenMagic@aol.com Sincere regards, and many thanks, in advance.
