I had the great pleasure to hang out with a a wonderful artist named Charles Schneider at the World Magic Seminar. We would exchange ideas and perform for each other till the wee hours of the morning. Well...you have to understand this was in Vegas! Anyway.... we were there in a corner we called our own and It was Charles' turn to perform. BAM! Just like that he turned to this rather creepy character from old old London. I am not going to give away the story or the climax but I just have to say that this was one of the most compelling card tricks.../ performances I have seen in years. Oh... and I have seen a lot of good stuff!

It was adapted from an Aldo Columbini write up, about another guy's effect, in an old Linking Ring called JACK THE RIPPER REVISITED.

CHARLES...HEY...!!IF YOU ARE PUT THERE....MAKE A VIDEO WILL YA SO ALL CAN ENJOY YOUR TAKE!

I think his performance is a little lesson in story telling, and theater.

I saw an effect by Matthew Johnson revolving around the same subject "Jack the Ripper", on Tony Chris's DVD called THE CHOSEN.

Johnson's effect is call WHITECHAPEL and is a great poetic masterpiece. You guys should also look at that performance.
