This is on the Hank Lee site as an exclusive. Comes out in April. It will work with any magnetic material and is only $95 which would be a price break through for metal detectors. Fits on the arm by the looks of the photo on the HL site. Tony I believe is a member here. Can you give us range ect or any info at all on this?

It looks a lot like Child's Play I which is less expensive.

The only way it could be better than CP is if its range was far greater. CP2 IMHO is far superior and the most convenient of these type of gizmo's. Strapping up equipment is something I personnally don't like. Were as I always wear a watch. However, if they come out with something that has a far greater range, I'd consider it. If a CP4 ever comes out with a greater more powerful range I wouldn't hesitate to pay a premium price for it.

I can guarantee that the range on the Hank Lee version will not have any better range than what we currently have in any CP product. I can say this with assurance because we use the most sensitive sensors available. We are constantly looking for better ones and right now we have the most sensitive ones made. If that changes in the future we will, of course, we will make an updated version. My point here is that our CPI at $65.00 will do the same as this effect at $95.00

Mental Detector has been designed and custom manufactured exclusively by a leading electronic company in Bangkok Thailand. The unit itself can be worn anywhere on your body and will give a clear and responsive signal when the discrete sensor on your wrist comes into range of any magnetic item.

I have seen the instructions to this product and the handling to get a "reading" is exactly like Child's Play I. There is no difference in the product to CPI other than the use of a poker chip and of course the price.

I was planning to purchase mental detector and saw the price suddenly jumped to US$ 145. This was US$ 95 three days back. Now that the difference between Mental Detector and Child`s Play 1 is so different, I have to compare way the signal is delivered. Are the delivery method different? Does both of them need the use of long sleeves? Many thanks for your help/

I know this is going to seem like I am saying it because we make Child play but the sensor in tony's mental detector is not any more sensative than childs play. The only differnce between the two is the price. Mental detector is almost an exact copy of cp1. If you do a search in , I beleive, secret sessions a reviewer compared the two and said they wee the same. He was totally impartia. He had other comments but I do not wish to elaborate further. You can do a search to see.
As far as to the basic set up and how they are made the only difference between the two is mental detector has a flat vibrating unit and ours is a small tube. Everything else works exactly the same. I see in the for sale section there is a cp3 watch for sale for $130.00. This is a much better buy for the money. With this version you don't need long sleeves as you do with cp1 or mental detector. Ron. Many thanks for your prompt and honest answer. I`ll go for your CP3 as long as it has a vibrating delivery signal and no need to look at the watch for a reading. I have checked the product on your website. I live in Mauritius. Can you give me an indication of the shipping cost and how I`ll proceed with the payments?

There is no need to look at the watch before, during or after detecting. The only reason to look at the watch is to see what time it is.
