Looks like a nice variation on this type of effect! lots of comedy potential! I have always had problems with the volume issue with lie detectors, this looks like it could be great and very loud! anyone got one Ash |

I got one in today for the store. Not a bad unit. Volume little scratchy when you slide it, but I think it will be a fun item. Not a full size megaphone, however a good size for travel. I believe it will play big in a larger audience.
For the retail price, not sure I can see it going for that. But over all very neat unit. Good invention look for a Professor character like myself. |

I like the idea for comedy, but way overpriced for what you get, I just couldn't justify the price tag on this

You know what I HATE, and it's partially Hocus Pocus, and partially the poster, but I hate when people link to HP for a specific effect as the link is ALWAYS for the main page.
Granted they are just copying the link on the browser when they are on the page they wish to link to, however, a simple check of your own post would show that it does as I mentioned. This is due to HP using frames on their web page. To copy a link direct to the product you are refering to, just right click on the "more info" button and select either "properties", or "copy link location" and then paste this.

Lie Master looks good but I prefer Lie Detector TW3000 by Tim Wisseman.

I am planning to get a lie detector to put into my show. there aren't much designs out there in the market.
What are the choices and which one is better? Hope to have some good review from you guys who have one of those. |

I got received my Lie Master XRG, the size is good for traveling, it is very much smaller than on the photo. I guess to only bad size of this is: it uses three different types of batteries to make it work... the sound for wrong and correct sound very close too. the sound is very loud but when kid speak into it, is almost no sound at all. well, this until I will give only 6/10...

I much prefer the Lie Detector Helmet which also has a faux smoke feature. The sound on this is good for most venues although a bit louder would be nice. The remote is extremely reliable and the unit is very durable. Another part that I prefer is that you can use it with or without the helmet and because it comes off it packs much smaller. Finally, the image of a spectator wearing the helmet looks much funnier than someone speaking into a megaphone where their face can't be clearly seen.

I've been contemplating the lie detector for a while. Recently looked at Robert Baxt's. It is a lantern in appearance, but is presented as a lie detector.
Does anyone have this and how does it play? Good quality product? How's the sound? Thanks, John |
