I looked it up in my CF2 copy, and it's indeed Neo-Jordan Count, nothing spicy in the name. It confirms my deductions on the variation. I actually disagree with Racherbaumer on the short-comings of the original Jordan Count, but that would be a discussion for another thread. Years ago, I worked out a variation on the Emsley Count so that the last two takes are identical to the original JC. Perfect handling for people with dry hands and easier than the original EC. The cards positions remain unchanged too, which is again counter intuitive.

Hi Claudio,
I am very intrigued by your variation of the EC! When you say the "cards positions remain unchanged" do you mean the cards are in the same position after the count as they were before? Or do you mean the final arrangement is identical to what it would be following a standard EC? PS. I found the post from Hideo Kato - it is on page 1 of THIS thread! |

Thanks Claudio!
By a process of elimination I think I have figured it out. A nice alternative if you struggle with step 2 of the standard EC. |

That's it. Well done! It makes for a very clean EC without the usual tell tale.
