The weather is so bright that my friend Brian and I are going busking after work today! I was so excited that I went out and got a bubble gun! This thing is sweet. I just have to screw in a bottle of bubble stuff and squeeze the trigger and I get hundreds of bubbles, perfect for getting attention for a street magic show. I have the vernet set of bubbles so I can catch and multiply them. I had to brag somewhere and this seemed like the right forum.

I read somewhere that 2.5 million people use these to defend themselves every year.

It broke! The piece of $#it! First day out of the box, just as Brian was warming up, just as people were starting to take notice of the giant cloud of bubbles the thing just stopped working. The motor just isn't running. For $6 I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but I would think that it would work for more than 30 min. I will take it apart and see what the hold up is. Anyone have a bubble machine or bubble gun that they are happy with?

Bubbles are cool, sorry the gun broke. That is what happens when the world moves its manufacturing to the cheapest places.

Bubbles are such an easy ride. Kids go mad for them.
Have you got bubble swords over there? There just a few quid but make giant bubbles. A friend of mine often brings his out for walkaround entertainment. The audience go mad but it's a real no-brainer for him. |

Toys R Us has a little bubble machine I love--a set of rings dip into the fluid and pass an air jet. I used it with a church nursery group for ages until I tried to clean it out and apparently shorted it. I saw an ad last Sunday; maybe I'll get a new one.

Puppeterry, I was going to suggest the same thing, it is just you lose the ability to chase kids and shoot 'em with bubbles, what you describe is a cool bubble maker.
