No. But you should feel guilty that you felt the need to ask the question.
There are few who have inspired more interest in magic than The Masked Magician. |

You should feel guilty if you PERFORM anything you learned from watching the MM. Go out and find out the original source and show your respect to THEM for using their material. If it is a purchasable material, purchase it and reward the hard work that went into helping your performance.
There are few who have damaged more potential magic audiences than the Masked Magician. It's not about magicians, it's about the audience. |

Considering the multitudes that he's entertained- actual, not potential, people numbering in the millions, who, thanks anyway, don't need anyone else to tell them what they should or shouldn't like- comments such as that might make some wonder if you are genuinely as solicitous of audiences as you seem to think.

"NO!!" you shouldn't feel guilty, "AT ALL!"
should you feel guilty about learning anything "OTHER" than magic from anywhere else? ..... NOOOOOO! If so, feel guilty about learning spanish from someone other than someone from Spain. |

Hmmm...C. has a point, don't you think?
Magic is a vanishing art.

I learned that it's easier to do use a double if you're wearing a mask, easier to hide a TT if you have on gloves, and easier to look like a tool if you're wearing both exposing other people's tricks on television.

I can learn from whoever is teaching, and still be repulsed by the teacher at the same time.

I think you SHOULD feel guilty!
I watched a cooking show about KFC, and they revealed the Colonel's secret 11 herbs and spices. Now I can't sleep at night and have to see a phychiatist 3 times a week. Do what I did. A few frontal labotomies, and some eletroshock therapy, and now I forgot all that stuff. BTW....Is this that puppy forum? Oh, nevermind....I think I have a cat. |
