What do you recommend using to attach the mouse to the back of a child.
I have tried tape. Doesn't work. Any suggestions? |

I attach to my own back with a black magnet on its nose and then turn around while looking for him . ..

Before you give up on the tape, try the double stick heavy duty carpet tape sold at Home Depot. It has a fiber texture look to it. VERY sticky.
Otherwise, a lot of folks just have him attached to their own back as described above. It is easier to set up and can be played out FAR BETTER. Good luck Chance

Having it on your own back with a magnet is a sure fire method.
And you can milk it by trying to look on your back. Even jump 1/2 way around and try and see it, but you don't. Kind of like Pizza Surprise.

I have a couple of extra BYS mice if anyone is interested. Give me a PM and we can make a deal. Yo9uu can have stunt double mice popping up all over the place.

I attached a small pin to my mouse. In my routine, I have it discreetly attached by my assistant to my back.
Blow Yur Stack is one of the best combination game and magic prop. Kids go wild when I do it.

Ok. Thanks. I am new to performing this effect.
How do I attach the magnet to my clown vest? Any suggestions? |

I now officially miss my Blow Yur Stack. By the way, buy a belt magnet to attach to your belt at the rear of your pants, and attach the mouse there. Same as I do for my Pizza Oven Surprise and my Run, Wolf, Run.
Somebody wanna donate a Blow Yur Stack to me for all the gracious things I've done for the hundreds of Café members who've needed copies of instructions and things over the years? Steve |

I feel for ya Steve . . .
Where does one get belt magnets? Is that a sporting goods store item? I super glued magnet to a pendant (silly one) and wear inside my shirt in center of back and think this is better for visibility from the back of the audience. However, the funniest may be the pocket flat magnet in the back pocket. The "butt" bite from the mouse gets more laughs . . . MrGeorge@supermagnetman.net sells some good magnets (including PK rings at 1/2 magic site prices). |

Belt magnets are sold at almost all hardware stores. I got mine with my "Sliding Disc Box" from billfromoregon, and a couple extras. They seem to be a little stronger than the average store-bought models.
Where the mouse (or whatever) ends up (high or low on your back/butt) will depend upon your attire during performance. If you wear a vest, you'd definitely want it in the middle of your back, shirt and pants, probably the same. With a jacket, lower or higher is good. Steve |
