First performance will be using the Unis sound system. Do all these wireless receivers fit standard plugs on the main sound system? |

You're looking for low budget non name brand wireless. I would never do that. especially for the prices you're listing.
for a similar price you can get a: Shure Sennheiser AudioTechnica Yes, they all fit standard plugs.

I must be looking at the wrong sites, branded names I keep finding which is in the UK (£'s) are all over the prices listed above.
Any ideas where I should look? By the way I need the whole wireless system, bodypack transmitter, mic and receiver. |

I have 8 of the dB Technologies UHF 901R body packs and Receivers. The receivers are metal cased with removable aerials. The sound on these is superb. I also bought a separate headset attachment (black with elastic strap) for £25. Because I bought 8 and my supplier was able to secure a good price I only paid about £150 for each one. I've worked in theatre and live venues for over 10 years and can honestly say the sound on these are superior to some other mics I've seen that were 3x the price. I also bought the flesh coloured headsets for each one (£65 per mic), but to be honest, these are pretty brittle and a few have been in for repair, plus the flesh paint easily flakes with normal use.
But if its just a regular headset and UHF transmitter and receiver you're after, these come with my highest recommendation. If you ever have need for repair I can put you in touch with a guy who repairs for Trantec. His work is top notch, customer service first class and his prices fair. He repaired a mic for me not long ago which I needed on a tight deadline. He met the deadline with a week to spare, and the mic was in the post and in my hands before he even took payment (I don't have an account either!). Hope this helps Mark
