I mainly wanted to put this effect out to make sure I had it down ok. (I made another video earlier another day and a few people told me it looked ok..., but I'm still skeptical, I need to polish it off more I think).
Main reason this routine relies heavily on the classic palm. I'm using this routine to practice it as well as usual practice methods (having the coin in the hand everyday). It's been about a year since I started the Classic palm. I want to know if its paying off, or my hand looks like its 'squeezing oranges', which some people seem to have no matter how much they practice. I want to know if I'm one of them or there's hope... Here's the routine. please let me know what you think! I have to work on the patter too..., but it should be technically sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGiejl6cCS0 |

Hey Kevin,
Long time no see my friend! I'd say I'm fairly qualified to make a comment since I've been aware of your work on the CP since you began aye! Now that you're actually using the CP in a routine and not just showing us a static hand with a coin in place, I can say that you've come a long way! The routine needs more time and polish but I personally think you've improved greatly since the last time we messaged! Good for you buddy, keep up the hard work and let us know how you're doing! Thanks Mick.
Lately I've been real lazy on practicing in front of the mirror, it just seems like a chore to me. So I've decided to practice sleights while watching tv. In the commerials, I practice the david stone transfer until I can get it smoother, and the classic palm as well. But I've been trying to improve my classic palm a lot more lately. Edit: I wanted to add, does the classic palm currently look good, bad, fair? Is it passable to spectators you think? I don't want to perform this rountine quite yet, as its not fully polished but I want to know if my classic palm is good enough for spectators to not suspect. |
