I only saw the original movie a long time ago when I was a teenager. I can't remember if it was actually funny or just so bad that it was funny. Never caught the show though.

Personally I loved the show, and watched the whole series end to end. I have a real weakness for women who can kick butt though, so that may have something to do with it! It was refreshing to see a strong female character that solved her own problems with something other than "feminine wiles". Plus the writing was always well done and funny, and the other characters were great as well.

I liked the show a lot, although I think it should have ended sooner. It was better when each episode was a "stand alone" without all the drama. I also liked the Buffy character better before she became such a whiner.
Spike should have been killed off long ago, but why, oh why, did they have to kill Anya? My life will never be the same. Just my two cents. |

Watched every show. Loved it till the end. Was a bad way to end it. Will miss that bunch. Should never have brought Buffy back from the dead.
Even though I liked this show very much the one I liked much better was Kindred, The Embraced. Doug

Doug -- which time?
Watched the show from day one -- through the bad times and the Joss times. Only show I watched regularly. Really terrific writing for a show people thought was for teenagers. Marni Noxin, on the otherhand, should be made to undergo intense psychoterapy before being allowed to write for television again. Finale was good--nice to have Joss Whedon at the helm again--some of the best lines this season were in this episode. "There's a party in my eye socket and everyone's invited!" S. |

Should never have been brought to UPN and restarted. The intense sense of loss I experienced when she died was cheapened by them bringing her back. I mean they still had a slayer, albeit in jail, but they still had one.
Just my opinion, Doug

Doug --
I agree with you on that, though I still didn't want the show to end. She saved the world, a lot. Sean |

I think S.M. Gellar it´s extremely beautiful. But lets talk about the show, i think i began sawying it from the second season and i got caught. It´s really cool to see a show where magic it´s involved, the only thing i saw wrong was that the show always had a teenager focus, that's why i prefer "ANGEL" (much darker). And i have to agree with Doug, "Kindred, The Embraced" was awesome.

I've seen the odd episode. Not entirely to my taste. I much prefer Angel.

I would watch it from time to time. I didn;t catch the finale...What happened?
My initial turn on was the vampire theme(From age eight to know I have been nothing but a vampire for halloween....love to scare the kids at the mall ) , but when I tried to watch it regularly I didn't like the way the vampires looked...the wrinkled forhead is too much. Jakks |
