I recently purchased a sword basket illusion from a Café member and should receive it on Friday. However no instructions will be arriving with the illusion. Can someone who is familiar with this routine, PM me with instructions I can provide to my assistant.
Thanks in advance.
Seems to me that death is just natures way of telling us to SLOW DOWN!

Steve,
I think once you play with it a little, you'll find many ways to use it. Learning the sequence of events will make your life and that of your boxjumper a lot safer and easier. It should be a very useful prop but because of the base, not easy to haul in a car. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

There is a definite order to the placement of the swords in my basket. I visibly marked the basket with the sword order because I never want to make a mistake. It is VERY difficult to tell where the first sword goes without these marks. I also marked it in glow in the dark paint. No one can see these marks from the stage.
I have actually seen magicians who have had to remove swords because they don't all fit upon insertion of the third or fourth sword! Geez! I also drew a smiley face on the top of the lid, at the point where the person sits and their head belongs. You really CAN cut your assistant or poke them in the EYE with the sword if you angle it wrong! The swords are a few mere centimeters from their face, so there IS some real danger in this seemingly benign illusion. Be safe and have fun! PM me if you need any other suggestions. Autumn
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.
