Hey guys, feel free to remove this if it is against the rules but I just wanted to come over here to mention a movie a few friends of mine were the executive producers of called "Yonkers Joe".
I decided to come here because I figured it would interest some of the people on here, and since it is a independent film it isn't very well known. The movie is about a man who is an expert at using sleight of hand to swap out dice in craps games and also has a crew of card sharks. There is a lot more story to it than that and it definitely isn't anything like Ocean's 11. The main thing that brought me here is that all of the sleight of hand stuff done in the movie was real and taught by man named Bob Celestino (the son of the real Yonkers Joe). The movie itself is a drama and has a good story to it, but just this morning thought it might be a good idea to mention this on a magic forum. http://www.apple.com/trailers/magnolia/yonkersjoe/ <--trailer If this interests anyone on here please check it out |
