Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a routine that I thought I read originally in the Linking Ring a few years back in a Halloween edition that was based around the phrase "When the Devil Calls." The story revolved around the tale of some folks who made a bet with the devil to have everything that they could wish for, but there was a chance that one of them, all of them, or none of them would lose their soul by taking the bet. But, even if they lost, they would all get to have all thier deepest desires during this life. The way the trick worked was that each person had to write down their name on a slip of paper, tear them in half and you spelled out "When the Devil Calls" one word at a time and it ended up all the names matched up with the other half in the end so everyone lost their soul. That's the summary of it - if anyone has some knowledge on where it might be found or who came up with it I would be greatly appreciative! Thanks in advance, Chad |

Always glad to help.
I Don't know if David is on the Café, but odds are that he is here somewhere. If you need help with anything else, just ask.

Hello Chad,
Your trick, "When The Devil Calls" sounds like a variation on "The Last Cards Match". You will find David Lees here: davidlees@blueyonder.co.uk. Cheers. Leslie
