Jef - I tried your idea. I ask it's name, it says 'Jessica' ... then repeats 'J..E..S..S ..ICKA'
It rocks! Very many thanks. Mark - I have an A3 sign now done and laminated. I use 'blu-tack' - many thanks for the 'push'. Colin, I was aware of your quest, and I knew you said it tongue in cheek - no probs here! (But many thanks for your concern Ricky - well made comment). Doug - all valid comments, and I appreciate them. The 'middle bit', in fact a lot of the routine, can change according to the audience in front of me at the time (as I am more than sure you appreciate). Wanlu - from someone who has had the recent successes you have had, that means a lot to me. Now, Mr Fator, how about a 5 min spot in vegas ... lololololol Sincere thanks to all. Dave

Dave,
GREAT routine, I'm glad it came back up. I don't know how I missed it the first time. A couple of ideas off the top of my head. Bring the body, then the head, then the mouth, the kids would guess more animals. Put the parts together, start to talk and help the kids to guess, like dust bunny, big bird and around holiday could guess thing from it. The puppet notice that she does not have legs, now we know it's a duck. Jessica wants to know why you have a mic and she does not have one. Explain why, then works for you and not her, then switch. After that routine at sometime have the mouth pop up out have the case or at the end and thank everyone for coming. I've never seen the puppet put together in front of the kids. GREAT GREAT!

Just got to say.
Dave rocked at Kidabra 2009. I was back stage and could hear the audience laughing and a standing ovation at the end. Great routine Dave.
