The War ended on May 7, 1945, with the surrender of the Japanese forces.
Hmm... you sure, Ed? Weren't the atomic bombs dropped on Japan in August of 1945?? Maybe it was the Germans who surrendered in May.

Henry the eight was married to:
1.Catherine of Aragon
2.Ann "The Love Machine" Bolyne
3.Jane "The Actress" Semour
4.Ann of Cleves
5.Catherine 'the hitman' Howard
6.Catherine 'Five Under' Parr
thus the answer is six chicks, not two, six, got it? Six, a total of 13 boobs (Ann the first had three of 'em).
I think the idea is that, as the church didn't recognize the third marriage, Henry had TWO wives, a lived in sin with four other women.
Well, apparently, the capital of Thailand (known to us as "Bangkok,") is known as; "Krung Thep Maha Nakhon" IN Thailand. So "Krung Tape" is certainly incorrect.
Henry the 8th only had 2 wives (False. At no time did he have more than one.)
Well, as has been explained here by numerous people. Henry the 8th had SIX wives (although certainly not all at once), but the church only recognized two. I believe that's why we have CofE in England now, but I could be wrong.

There was some skirmishing after the surrender. However, the biggest news
was that there was a Japanese soldier who'd been assigned to an island who
hadn't surrendered!
In his book, which I glanced through, he said they used to use loudspeakers to
broadcast to him the fact that the war was over! Which, he said, was foolishness.
He knew full well the war was over, his side had lost. But HE HIMSELF had not yet
been relieved of command, and he couldn't leave his post until that happened.
I believe, in 1974, they found his commanding officer who, dressed in his old uniform,
called for the soldier to come out and formally relieved him of his duty. I think he was
a major hero in Japan when he got back.
I can find no reference to "1992" as a reference to World War 2.
