Why, thank you Antoine.
As you know, research is everything. It's not enough to buy an object, marvel its beauty and then put it aside until the next aquisition money can buy. In this line of work, we need to use the grey matter which differentiates us from the mollusk; if we don't we tend to oversimplify (in this case) an artefact so rich in history and so solidly anquered in our collective consciousness, it would be an insult to treat it like a piece of retail cr*p. Having ranted enough on this very relevant subject, yes, the Angara Experiment required many moons (pun intended) of unraveling. At first, I did a horizontal analysis: translate books, read them, interpret them, double check with native speakers if the nuances were well translated etc. This gave me a general overview of what the printed material was about, how it linked to the cranum, in short I formulated an initial hypothesis. Coins were brought to a numismatician; this gave yet another insight. And this empirical method was used for all objects. The second lecture was more difficult: trying to retrace the steps which were carefully erased. In this case: who was in charge of OGPU, what were the whereabouts of Birman and Pavlov, why a book of Sabine Baring-Gould...? Wolves, OK, but why? Many, if not all, answers were there, in the archives. Everything in this story is backed by historical events: it fits. As for the descendants: I am fortunate to be corresponding with Prof.Dr.Grakov, and since we are both working as therapists it made the contact very amiable. This was made possible thanks to my good friend Dr. Eerebout, whom I am working with to develop the chromotherapy even further (http://www.psycho-physio-scan.com/). Grakov, when in Brussels, always made time for me discussing his method and giving me time to copy letters his grandfather wrote. (btw: the year 1985 relating to the interview with Grakov is a mistake: the quote -from a taperecorder- was recorded in 2008). So you understand why it took us so much time to gather all information and forge it into an extraordinary yet true tale.

It's really an impressive research...
And even if it isn't (what's a pity) a gimmick I could buy for less than tweny bucks for an automatic routine ready-to-use-instant-reset-amazing-see-the-public-reaction-unbelievable, I must admit that it is a hudge colossal job! Is there an explaination for using "Angara" as the name of the experiment? Or did I miss something about that? |

I've just read Fabula Hermetika, where there is the "U 1052 - Operation Oboroten" (part of the Curator)
Great work and research ! Congratulation to you both. |

This is WONDERFUL, Curator! You never cease to impress me! Many Native American Indian tribes (including mine) have legends of great wolves and shapeshifters. I can only imagine what it is like when you close your eyes, go to sleep, and DREAM! Amazing!
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.
