I saw this movie about this man who was training to be a magician and he did this effect were he produced a glass of liquid from an empty hankerchief. Is there anywhere I can learn this or any books?

Shaun,
There are many, many ways this can be done, from mechanical to sleight of hand. A basic was is in Bruce Elliott's book, Classic Secrets of Magic. Problem is, it's out of print and may be hard to get. Gene Burger also has a full shot glass from flat, empty paper bag. Most bigger magic shops should have that. And almost every magic shop will have some form of the trick available. |

Check out Mark Wilson's and Walt Gibson's work, entitled:
"Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic". Look on page 364. The effect is titled: "Wine Glass Production". Enjoy, and please practice a lot before the actual presentation. rr |

The great manipulator Salvano from Poland does an entire act producing glases with liquid, most of them (if not all) body loads.

Michael Ammar produces a bottle of wine using a topit. Check out his lecture notes on topits. He is the topit master.

Check out this link on allmagic.com [outdated link]. I believe it´s what you might be looking for. It´s by Infantino and it´s called Liquid Surprise. Bonne Magie!

Hey, I saw Ammar perform the wine bottle production with a topit at his Shreveport Lecture in February. It is unbelievable. You have no idea what he's about to do and when it's done you're left with your mouth open. I'd do that.
