I posted this in a couple of other areas in the Café, I'm not sure if that's against any rules or not, but thought I'd post it here too.
I'm trying to come up with various ideas for getting an 18" caterpillar silk into a 6 foot butterfly silk. I would like to wrap the 18" caterpillar in a white silk for a cocoon, have it change to an 18" butterfly silk. Then, I'd like to have that grow into a 36" butterfly silk, and finally have that change into a 6 foot butterfly silk. I have several of the normal changing props: crystal silk cylinder, handled change bag, hidden spring change bag, dove pan, and more. I would like to end with the crystal silk cylinder (it's from Marty Hahn, good quality). Any thoughts on this? Doug Follett |

Doug,
I use Marty's crystal silk cylinder to produce a string of butterflies (ten 24" butterflies on a ribbon). Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Hey Bob great idea, did you make the butterfly ribbon yourself?
