I was flipping through the television channels yesterday and I was surpized to see Darwin Ortiz on the screen. As it turned out, he was the expert who was demonstrating a few gambling scams that some people try to use in casinos. I didn't watch it for very long, I was just curious if anybody else caught this.

Was this on the Discovery Channel or something similar? It could be a repeat of something I saw. Darwin was in a casino showing a scam using a shell stack of chips. Is that the one you are referring to?

Yes, that's the one. I think I saw it on the learning channel or something like that.

Yes I saw it as well. In Canada it has been on at least three times now. Interesting stuff though.

I don't know, I think it was something called "Uncovered," or something like that. I didn't watch it for long, but it appeared to be exposing scams, such as crooked gambling, "pshycic" surgeries, ect...

It's been on UK TV too. If I remember rightly it was Ian Rowland (often seen on these boards) exposing the psychic surgery.
As far as I remember, nothing that anyone really uses in a magic or mentalism act today was exposed. Rgds, Ian |

It was on TLC last night and was called "Unmasked! Exposing the Secrets of Deception!" I believe. It featured both Ian Rowland and Darwin Ortiz. It was more of an interesting scam exposure than magic/mentalism type stuff. They showed some gambling stuff, the old reflection in coffee ruse, psychic surgery, and crop circles. It's not a new program I'm sure...I'm positive I saw it at least 3-4 years ago, maybe more.
