Hi.
Now that I'm getting a rabbit, I am thinking of getting the circus wagon. I think I am choosing this because it looks to have the largest space. Can you leave the rabbit in there for the whole show and just set it up when you reach to get the wagon just as you are about to perform it, or do you have to perform the wagon first? It doesn't look like the space is very small. Would I be able to transport the rabbit in the wagon? Does anyone have any links to where I can buy the circus wagon in the U.K.? I can only find them in the U.S.A. All your thoughts and opinions would be great. Especially if you have handled the circus wagon before. Thanks, James |

A rabbit would be very comfortable in there for a 30-40 minute show.

Thanks Gaurdian.
Is the box easy to perform and can I set it up easily? James |

Are you sure the rabbit will be comfortable? His feet are off the ground...the load chamber is triangular..and it looks awfully cramped.

I have been using the circus wagon for 5 years now in all of my kids shows. I load him in before the show and he stays there through the show because it is the last trick I do. It never seems to both my rabbit and I have been using the same rabbit for 3 years now.
From what I get from a lot of posts here rabbits like dark quite places anyway. Shawn D |

Wow Shawn!
That seems very good. I've thought about using it for stuffed animals, silks etc. I have a vent dummy which is about 14 in by 7 in scrunched up. Been thinking about using him. I live where it is too hot and too many coons to really keep a rabbit safely outside. How big is the load chamber? I read it was triangle shaped. I assume you know all the routines...read about the balloon bursting then the rabbit etc appears. Any other uses? Please reply. Thanks again. Wayne

The load chamber is about less than half the box. You could fit a stuffed animal in it no problem.
As far as routines go just use your imagiantion. I do the balloon to rabbit with mine. I tell the kids I am going to pull a rabbit out of a hat. I have the kids hold the hat and I pull a balloon out telling them it is a rabbit. I put it in the circus wagon and when the balloon pops the real rabbit appears. The kids love it. Shawn D |

Shawn,
That is excellent. I've decided on a bunny box for now and we will see if my dwarf outgrows it:)

If you have a Nethern dwarf it shouldn't out grow the box. I believe they stay pretty small. I use a Holland lop rabbit and never had any troubles with it at all.
If my rabbit was to jump around in the box like he was uncomfortable I would never put him in it again. As a matter of fact when I produce him I open the box and pull him out because most of the time he stays in the back like he is just kicking back on a vacation. When going from show to show I carry my rabbit in a carrier. When I do my last show I have my rabbit get into his carrier but I don't close the door on it. I am in a mini van with the seats down. This lets him know he is done doing shows and he gets to streatch out before we go home. Sometimes he hops into to the circus wagon and just sits there on the way home. I love my rabbit. Shawn D |

Yeah, the Circus Wagon is plenty big. But I'm going to use the Mak's bunny box for now because it highlights my black bunny.
I only practiced putting him into a pasteboard box with small proportions and you are right. He settles down after a while. Perhaps they nap in there. I've just got to keep him from going in it now I was trying to condition him to a bag but he is real nervous, peed in there today....something about a bag effect.... Think my dwarf is built funny, he is pear shaped. Some of his back hair sticks out a bit in the bunny box.....
