Here's my performance of the brilliant version of Paul Harris' Reset by Caleb Wiles, entitled ReSwindled. Comments, thoughts, critiques are, as always, amazingly appreciated.

Same here, love the routine. Right now, I'm working on a variation of the count at the end, using Andi Gladwin's Deja Vu Count. It's in the hands, and has a nicer flow.

Michael, defenitely liked it, good handling, just a "tad" to quick on couple displays.

Very nice but more than just a tad to fast. I thought the tape was running fast at first.

Hey, I gotta question: is this the routine as taught in "High Spots"? The handling doesn't look quite the same as the TA teaching -- more like Josh's demo on the Vanishing site.

I never do a routine exactly as taught... almost always change it up to suit myself. So, this is not a direct handling from any source (although, I did learn it in MAGIC Magazine a few years back)

A little bit too fast but really good performance, congratulations. I am practicing it in these days because I got tired of the original version of Reset and this one is definetely one of the best variations I have seen.
I would just suggest you to slow down a little bit the patter and the movements, to give the spectator more time to understand what's happening. And when you do the final show of the 4(?) kings, keep the left hand more on the side of the cards because you shield the face of the bottom packet king when you show him. Just a question: why did you remove the Ascanio spread at the beginning? I think it's a great convincer that you are holding 4 indifferent cards because you can show almost all of them fanned together. Greetings Dave |

I reprise an old thread to let you know that I performed reswindled yesterday in front of a big audience at our local Magic Club and the reactions confirmed me how a wonderful routine it is, if combined with a dynamic and funny presentation!
Thanks Caleb for this wonderful piece of magic Dave |

I enjoyed watching the video, as the other said it was a little bit to fast.
But what about the knife?;) |
