Thank you Curtis,
I'm happy to see someone mention this. Bobo's book is a classic, but like you said, some of the work in there is laughable. I'm happy see someone who is a pro in the field of coinmagic express this. |

Curtis,
I just went back and read your post again. Wow. There is some real meat there. Thanks for the advice and heads up. Are there other sources (DVD, vid, book) you would recommend to a new coin magi such as myself? Thanks, andy |

Hi Gang,
I would have to go with Curtis Wnen He Said's " The Vanish Happens After the False Transfer" He Is So right! ( See my Essay on It From my week here under Your retention plese!) Yea you should lurn Your Slights And Techniques frist! So Some one can hand your 4 coins And you can do some killer stuff with them! But after you can do that, Don't Discount gaffs By combinding Sights And Gaffs togeter At The Right time You can do some killer stuff that you can't do with slight of hand or at lest not Cleanly Or Magicly looking! As The old masters Have Said " The only one who can get Away With the judicious or A gaff is someone who doesn't need one"! Then Lurn All you Can About Theory,Psychology, Philosophy,Timeing, Routineing, Flow,Showmanship,And Presentation Of magic!!! Then You are on your Way! Best David Neighbors The Coinjurer |
