While reading a different thread on the Newspaper Tear, it occurred to me that I have the manuscript for the Baker Tear in a book, but I've never tried it.
Does anyone still use it? Is Baker's method a mereartifact of the past, or does it still have some life in it? John (I'll find some time to try it out regardless.)

This is the one I prefer, but I have added an additional double page to it. At the conclusion, you can have 2 double pages, one in each hand, which can be shown on both sides.
I typically use it without the tearing sequence. I begin with a handful of funny "clippings", reading a few as I go. Since it is a slow motion restore and not a flash restoration, it catches the audience off guard.

So is the last name a coincidence, Michael? Or are you carrying on the Baker tradition?

I wish I could say it's no coincidence, but the name is just too common, and I'm not sure any of his decendants would claim me!

The only two DVDs with several methods (some involve showing inside the newspaper) are by Ben Salinas with his Tear and Restored Newspaper effects and "Worlds Greatest Magic" Newspaper Tear and Restored Newspaper effects.
